What is black lung?

Black lung is a lung disease caused by the inhalation of coal dust, that settles deep into your lungs. While most people with black lung disease do not have symptoms, they become more apparent by the age of 50.

Shortness of breath and violent coughing are the most common symptoms. Though there is no cure for this condition, we do offer treatments aimed at the symptoms and complications. Call us now to schedule an appointment!
